Passion for Crafts Blogoversary

Here is a blog from England I like. It's her one year anniversary. I hope mine is as successful one year from now!

Anniversary Card

A friend asked me to make a card to give to his wife for their 15th anniversary. He kept it very secretive, but since she has now received it I wanted to show you the card I put together. Today is their special day, so I also want to say Happy Anniversary to Steve and Lynne. I hope you have many more happy years together!

Hanglar Stanglar Image

Here is a card I made for a sketch challenge at More Than Scrapbooking (a forum I'm a member of). I'm not sure if the colours are showing up but it is different shades of purple and green. I received some Hanglar Stanglar images as a rak and just love this one. I embossed the edge of the oval and used my Martha Stewart lace border punch for the side pieces.

Sympathy Cards

A dear lady in my church passed away last week so I made these cards for her 2 daughters and family. For the card above, I embossed the sentiment using versamark and clear powder. For the card below, I embossed pink Core-dination cardstock with my Cuttlebug folder, sanded the raised parts, then used my Gelly Roll glitter pen. I used pearl stickles for the centre of the flowers and heated it with the heat gun until it bubbled up and went flat.

My Website

For those of you who know me, you know I am married to a computer genius. So I thought I had better take a moment and point out that I set my website up all by myself! That's right, I didn't ask him for any help at all. In fact, I didn't ask my computer whiz of a son for help either. I must admit however, that I did ask a friend on a forum I'm a member of for some help though. I wanted to know how she got the fancy background on her blog, and she gave me the name of a good website, but that was all the help I had! I have found it to be a fun and rewarding experience. But, before you think I am amazing and becoming a computer whiz myself, I must tell you that it really isn't all that hard. Basically, anyone can do it!

Card Orders

For those who live near me, I can make cards upon request. I can personalize them for you and design them with a favourite verse, colour, name etc. These 3 cards were made for orders I recently received.

Shout out to Sheetload

I owe a lot to Sheetload of Cards! This site really helped get me hooked on cardmaking. It is the best site to show you how to easily make several cards at a time. This helps save time and money while you build your stash of cards. I have every issue printed out and use them frequently.
Make sure you check it out.

Here is a link to the current issue:

Easter Cards

This year I made my DH and all 4 kids their own Easter cards. I found some great stickers at the dollar store I wanted to use, and the rest is just cardstock that I had on hand. I also wanted to be able to try out my new Labels 1 Nesties from Spellbinders. They are one of my favourite die cuts. I also used my scalloped circle Nesties, and my scalloped square punch by Fiskars.

Easter

Well I hope everyone had a Happy Easter! I sure did. Something different happened for me this year. I was on the receiving end of some of the goodies! My DD14 made her Dad and I each a special card. She also bought us each a chocolate bunny sucker with her own money. My card is in the photo, and you can see how she attached the sucker to the envelope if you look close. I think she did an awesome job. The brown bunny is her own creation. She has been dabbling in scrapbooking and cardmaking a little bit, and I think she is off to a great start!

Well I did it...I joined the blogging world! Inspired by those who have gone before me, I have finally figured out how to get this whole thing started. Soon I will find my way around enough to be able to tweak it and give it my own personal touch. For now though, this is it! Welcome to my blog "Happy Stamper Inkorporated"! This is also my business name which I created to sell my handmade cards.

Here is a card I just finished for a challenge at More Than Scrapbooking.
